The Outstanding iLASIK procedure

Today, more and more mission-critical personnel from NASA and the U.S. military have undergone the modern LASIK technology also known as the iLASIK Procedure to remedy their eye vision problems. As mentioned by a retired U.S. Navy captain and leader of a clinical research to study the importance of LASIK information in DOD, it has been noted that DOD and NASA has confirmed that the iLASIK procedure goes beyond all established standards of safety and effectiveness.

The iLASIK Procedure is a painless laser procedure which goal is to reshape the cornea so that refracted light can focus accurately on the retina. It uses two kinds of lasers treatment instead of one, as done in the earlier version. The first laser stage maps the unique characteristics of the patient’s eye and creates the corneal flap. On the next phase, which only takes about a few seconds, the laser corrects the vision based on the wave-front mapping data done on the first phase.

This painless modern procedure has already showed notable results based from the military’s evaluation. It showed that 95% achieved a 20/20 uncorrected vision or better therefore making it clinically proven to provide excellent safety and visual results.
