Missy's Minnie Mouse themed 3rd birthday party!

We had a fun filled and successful 3rd birthday celebration of Missy's Minnie Mouse themed 3rd birthday party last Sunday=) We only had relatives and some of my SILs friends come over to celebrate with us. So happy that everyone enjoyed their food and brought home lots of desserts with them. After all, most of what we had day that were practically desserts!

I baked all the mini cakes and mini cupccakes of course. And again I'm thankful that they were all raving about the look and the taste. Baking was stressful but the smiles on everyone's face swept my sleepy head away.

Am also glad that we got all of our Minnie Mouse inspired party supplies from only one store in Divi. The shop is located just beside (outside) Divisoria Mall.

It was also my first time to try making fondant cake. I wouldn't say it came out perfectly but for an amateur baker like me (with only the internet, food network shows, and the baking books to rely on for reference and techniques) i guess, it's already a good one. lol

Missy’s Minnie Mouse themed 3rd Birthday Party

Right now, i am starting to plan for CJ's birthday next month. Her's would be different though since we're planning to treat the entire family for a visit at fun ranch, ark of avillon zoo, and family spa at Little Lamb's kiddie spa saloon=) I'm still thinking of her cake though.. the design i mean.. any bright suggestion?

Piggy Themed Cupcakes!

Here's my second project guys! I really enjoyed baking these cute piggies=)

They look sooo like a cute family of pigs! The icings used in these cakes are all butter cream. But I used melted milk chocolate belgian choco to draw their mouth, whole on their nose, and cute little eyes.

This is blue daddy piggy and..

these are the brother piggies, all of which are Chocolate Fudge flavored. These cuppies are topped with Cappuccino Icing

while this pink mommy piggy..

and these sister piggies are in Moist Chocolate Chiffon flavor. These cuppies are topped with Dark Chocolate Icing

Here's mommy and daddy piggy in their themed premium boxes. Missy even waived goodbye to these couples while I was placing them in boxes. lol=P

My Cupcakes, mini cupcakes, and mini cakes!

My Chocolate Heaven is now introducing cakes on its line of products! Especially baked by me of course=)

Just a small background on this hobby.. My passion for pastries and desserts actually started a long time ago. I start baking when I was on my third grade. My mom used to work for an international christian company (Campus Crusade for Christ in Baguio City). Composed of mostly American bosses (some or one Indian I think), receiving baked goodies on holidays like Easter, Thanksgiving, Halloween, and specially Christmas has already become a tradition for their employees. And since they always have a year to end garage sale, selling baking equipments and recipes are always a part of it. When my mom decided to buy some baking equipments and recipe books, I and my dad started to try out baking and from then on, my mom always complained about my baking schedule because i do it almost every weekend as a snack for the family. Trying all the yummy goodies like cakes, brownies, and cookies.. she definitely had to set a budget for me! Lol.

Since then, our birthday cakes were homemade by me.=) But that stopped when I married. My mom doesn't want to give up here baking stuff yet daw. hehehe.. Oh well, I was also focus on my family and my profession. And I still do baking occasionally naman so that didn't bother me at all.. Not until I started my chocolate dessert business and some clients are already asking if I could also do cakes for them. And so I though, why not go back to the hobby that I and my family enjoyed;) It also by the way won my hubby's and his family's heart and stomach anyways! lol

So there you go.. Now I'm back to my 1st loved hobby! And to showcase my baked goodies, I baked some cupcakes in three different flavors (chocolate mint, vanilla chocolate chip, and strawberries and cream) and a two-tiered mini cake(in moist chocolate chiffon) as a gift for my elder brother, his wife, and their soon to be baby during the baby shower I hosted last April 11.
