After a month of preparation with my parents help from the province..we were able to create a successfull christening party for our second daughter,Carrie Justine. The baptism was solemnized in Lingayen Church and reception was in El Jardin Restaurant. Thanks to all our relatives, friends, and godparents who have made our occassion a success!

For my Ratings:
Church: Lingayen Church Rating: ****
-Although the baptism was done together with other babies, everyone still left the church happy kasi maging yung priest. Hindi siya boring and may sense of humor=)One thing i liked in this parish is that ang dali nila kausap ang hindi pa kamahalan ang fee per sponsor.

Reception: El Jardin Hotel and Restaurant Rating: *****
-Nice location kasi its mejo near the church. Good food.. lahat ng visitors satisfied and busog. Plus ang babaet ng waiters,madaling sabihan and accomodating. Another plus, they created a special cake table kahit hindi kasama sa package.=) And Another plus, they have a special presidential table for the godparents!

Cake: Sunrise Bakery Rating: ****
-Lahat nagenjoy sa cupcakes and were asking kung magkano. Actually 10pesos lang each sa kanila.hehe

Flower Decors and Balloons: El Jardin Hotel and Restaurant Rating: *****
-Kasama sa package nila to. Okay din, ganda ng setup. I especially liked the skirting on the caketable and presidential table.

-Mejo low resolution yung camera and no flash kaya mejo malabo pag sa madilim. But still the memories were captured so siyempre happy happy pa rin=) Natuwa ako sa pagkuha ng pictures ng dress niya..

-I had a little problem with my pictures kasi dapat calendar yung nandun sa Picture Cards, kaso I was using Windows PC and they were on Mac kaya hindi nagmamatch yung size ng layout namin. So i decided to go for one of CJ's picture in one of their Picture Cards theme na lang. Dko masyado nagustuhan yung output kasi still i wanted na calendar sana yung nanduon. Anyway, the picture quality is good na rin.

Invitation and Signature Frame: DIY ko to Rating: *****
-Siyempre impressed lahat. I liked it too! Hehehe.. I used Adobe Photoshop and i worked with my blog's images na rin.ganda kasi ng falling flower and vines dito=)

Dresses: We bought the cream one in MarketMarket and the Pink one was from Mom & Dad
-Ganda ganda. Cute tignan si CJ sa dresses niya. Mejo tinahi ko pa yun kasi maluwag ng konti. Good thing it fit her perfectly.

My big girl

Nakakatuwa talaga ang baby girl ko. Ate Missy kasi always kisses her baby sister. She is soo funny!Pag may nakikita siyang sumasayawa sa TV,she will always try to immitate it. Like last night, me and hubby were surprise to see her dance toktoktok while it was airing on tv. hahaha.. wala naman nagtuturo sa ganda. she a very jolly person, namana niya ata sa dad niya. she will always give you a smile or grin when you look at her..basta nasa mood ha!?=) kahapon din pala pinatulog niya si baby CJ sa kwento niya.itinabi kasi namin si ate missy kay cj sa hammock. know what she did? she kept on talking to her baby sister!yun para bang nagkakaintindihan sila..wehehe..il post the pics here after a few days.nakatulog si cj sa kakakwento ni ate.=)

Seafoods food trip!

Have you ever tried eating freshly cooked seafoods? Well i was lucky to have tried this one last week. Last friday me and my teammates went out for our regular quarterly group outing. I thought it was gonna be a regular outing until we got to Seaside! Ganda talaga ng experience! First we went to the seafoods market where we chose the seafoods we wanted. Ang mura ng benta nila=) We got the salmon for 400 a kilo (i haggled for 30 bucks and happy that they agreed, so pede pa tumawad!), then we got prawns for 300 a kilo.medium sized un..,pusit for 380 a kilo,big female crabs for 350 a kilo, and oysters for 50 a kilo. hay, sarap! ang daming pagpipilian. meron pang biiiig rock lobsters..i didn't ask how much it was pero natuwa ako dun kasi makulay ung lobster eh. after our palengke session we chose our palutuan resto to have our seafoods cooked. pagaagawan ka ng mga resto dun. as in pagandahan pa silang discounts and freebies para sila piliin mo. pano naman halos walang customers (siguro not in season ung november na weekday for them) kaya maswerte kami at nakapili kami ng resto that offered us low service charge. plus we got their vip for free din,so we were able to use their videoke machine while waiting for our foods. another great thing their was that ang sarap ng luto nila!it was really worth it. with only 3500 as budget for 7 people, sooobra dami pa naming nauwi! 3k nga lang nagastos namin eh.wehehe..
our menu for lunch:
salmon
- sashimi (i love this one)
- grilled salmon in lemon butter sauce (pede na rin, kaso di ko masyado naenjoy kasi mejo over grilled and they used calamansi only..i wanted the real lemon kasi it tastes better)
prawns
- garlic buttered prawns (the best!)
- sinigang na hipon (masarap din)
crabs
- steamed in salt and pepper (sobrang sarap!)
- chilli sauce crabs (maanghang pero malasa)
oysters
- oysters baked in cheese (one of my favs too.. tastes good even without the basil)
squid
- stuffed grilled squid (wasn't able to taste this one,kasi busog na busog na ko..!hehe.. but looks good naman)

by the way, seaside is located along roxas blvd., macapagal ave area.

Planning for Carrie's Baptism

I love planning for our family's events. And am so excited that another special event is coming up. We're preparing for our new bundle of joy's baptism. We're looking at December 22 for the date. That's the best date we can get for December. Here's a list of my to dos..:
1. Church - I have to call these churches to ask about their requirements and rates
First Option: Sanctuario de San Antonio Parish at Mc Kinley Rd.
Second Option would be the church near our place..

2. Reception Area -
First Option: Dad's Merrienda Buffet at Glorietta 4 - kaso kinda scary right now due to the accident that happend just this month.
Second Option: At home - kaso maabala at nakakapagod

3. Photographer - that would be me as always naman

4. Signature Frame - DIY ko

5. Invitation - DIY ko

6. Banner - not sure kung gagawa pa ko

7. Cake - if we go for Dad's, im not sure if we need this pa kasi marami nang choices sa desserts nila

8. Guest lists - we've started with this already. maximum of 30 nga lang eh. i'd like this party to be solemn so it will be exclusively for close relatives and god parents.

9. Dress ni baby cj - tingin na lang sa SM, i've heard na maraming maganda but affordable baptismal gowns dun.

10. Tokens/Giveaways - DIY ko.. im planning on creating a personalized small rosary made out of swarovski crystals. Excited na ko to do this=)

My wound got infected....but im still working

Yesterday hindi nanaman ako nakapasok... my wound from my CS operation kasi got infected. I dont know how kasi close naman na yung wound ko.. it was just this morning that i noticed a pus come out of my wound. yesterday kasi i only saw a reddish part on the wound that hurts when you touch it. also i felt dizzy din.. Actually til now i still feel a little bit dizzy. I'm really a bit scared kasi first time ko makitang umiikot ang paligid ko!hahaha.. I hope this is just stress.. Pinilit ko kasi magwork ang sarili ko after a month of rest lang from my CS operation last month.

Anyway, its a good thing that my good friend and colleauge advised me to visit an ob-gyne kanina to ask about my wound infection. So ayun, the doctor gave me medications..antibiotic ointment and capsulle..and told me to come back after a week. If the infection gets worst daw, my wound will have to be reopened and restitched!Hindi ko na nga lang pinapansin. but really, im starting to feel the pain on the infected area na. Im still here in the office. My boss wants me to go home, also she's advised me not to report back to work after 10 days pero ako si pasaway tong ayaw pumayag. I'll just pray that everything turns out well and the medications are enought to cure the infection..

Our Family

Our newest baby

We got a van recently. That's the newest member of the family. Kaso nagpapaderma pa siya. Meaning, nasa talyer at pinapipinturahan pa.hahaha. We only got a second hand vehicle kaya we're having the body repaired and painted a bit. I miss our van. I miss seeing it parked infront of our building. I want to try driving it already kasi my dad taught me how to drive just last weekend. Kaso gamit yung jeep niya. I was happy i got to drive til fourth gear agad on my second hour of driving lesson pa lang! Weeee! Hopefully, by next week or so,mahahawakan ko na rin sasakyan namin. Yipeee!

Our eldest daughter, si Missy na so kulet and bibo. Grabe, kelangan talaga me nakabantay sa sobrang kabibuhan feeling ko hyper active na siya. I believe she's already over confident. Always want to try a lot of stuff. At age 1 year and 2 months, nagagawa na niyang umakyat baba ng stair mag-isa. Of course, with someone looking at her para iwas accident. Here's a picture of our sweetheart as she hits the drums for the first time.

My youngest daughter naman is Carrie Justine. Born last month lang kaya i can't mention much about her yet.. what i can say for now is that she is easier to take care of than her ate kasi she only cries when she needs something. like when she's hungry, needs a burp or diaper change. Finally!

My first blog. Tagal ko na ring tinigilan ang pag-bloblog ha. I thought i'd never get back to doing this again. Wala lang, just wanted to note down important events in me and my family's life kaya eto write write again ako.

Today im happy, kasi finally our US client approved of my project's FRD and Mockup screens. This means na ready na talaga to for development. I just have to furnish the Technical Design Specification para no problemo.
