Smart baby=) just like her sister..!

Ever heard of the word Flamming?

All kinds of computer abuse are considered morally wrong. From the term "abuse" itself, it is imposibble for something "abusive" not to be considered as such. One good example here would be flamming.

Flamming is the act of sending emails to insult, curse, or hurt someone. I consider sending flamming mails as an unethical act due to these following reasons:

Ethics is defined as the study of the morality of human acions. Insulting, cursing , or hurting someone is definitely not a moral act, thus flamming becomes unethical.

Ethics is also said to focus on the care for the soul. Since the act of insulting, cursing, or hurting someone are considered elements of sin, flamming becomes unethical.

Flamming becomes unethical using the divine law because in Mathew 5:22, it is stated that

"But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court; and whoever * says to his brother, 'You good-for-nothing,' shall be guilty before the supreme court; and whoever * says, 'You fool,' shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell.

My New Breakfast Recipi

I got interested in one of the recipi shared by a chef on Ka Toque (QTv 11) last week. And finally, this morning I made that same recipi I learned for my family. I gave it a different version though. Instead of adding ham alone, i added tuna with a bit of onions and dried basil leaves.

My Crunchy Cheesy Tuna Delight

To share, here's the recipi for my Crunchy Cheesy Tuna Delight

1. 1/2 of white onion - minced

2. pinch of basil leaves - you may use the one from McCormick

3. 1/2 box of cheese - sliced
4. 6 pieces of white or wheat bread - I used Gardenia

5. 1/2 butter
6. 1 cup of cooked tuna
7. 1 can of evaporated or fresh milk - I used Carnation Evaporated milk

8. 1 pack of bread crumbs **please do not use chicken breading here

How to prepare:
1. Mix the tuna and minced onion
2. Using the white/wheat bread, spread your tuna mixture on one side of the bread. Then, sprinkle the tuna mixture with basil leaves. Cover it with another bread. Add the sliced cheese and close the sandwich with another bread.
3. Soak the tuna and cheese sandwich in the milk.
4. Cover the soaked tuna and cheese sandwich in bread crumbs. Set aside.
5. Heat the frying pan and melt the butter. When the butter is melted and hot, put in your tuna and cheese sandwich and cook it in low-medium fire.
6. Slice the Crunch Cheesy Tuna Delight into four. Cool and serve.

**Makes 12 servings

DIY Preps for my little CJ's coming 1st birthday

All mommies are excited to prepare for their baby's first birthday party. But with the rising cost of our basic commodities, mommies nowadays learn to create ways on how to minimize the budget for the parties they throw.

I for one rebudgeted for my baby's coming birthday party. From my initial 30k budget, i had to trim it down to 15k.

Here are some things i did / plan to do to make this 15k budget a reality:

1. Change the party place.
The manager of Max's Restaurant in Greenhills is one of our daughter's godmother and since she volunteered to help and give discounts, our first choice was Max's. I have already started doing some DIYs with the Royal Theme in concept but since i had to cut on the budget, we've decided to have the party in Jollibee McKinley instead. My reason for choosing this Fastfood resto:

a. All kids love Jollibee
b. The Jollibee mascot is already included in the package, and
c. the mascot also gets to dance, and join the fun for 30 mins!
d. It's very near our place. Most of our guest are our neighbors so this is a big plus factor if we think of convenience.
e. Ofcourse the package is cheap! Eveything is included like the name tag, the lootbags, the invitations, the decors, the party host, the games, and the prices..

2. Photo/Videographer.
I wanted to hire a pro, but since im on a tight budget, my friends/cousins would be a great option here.

3. Create my DIYs.
My budget will not afford professional party planners. So to make this party more special, I started using my artistic talents to do the backdrop, souvenirs/table centerpiece, and signature frame..

Here are some of my DIY's.

Hey, feel free to comment coz i can still do some adjustments here.

Thanks for the read!

My newly added blog

Please visit my newly added blog today. I created another one so i can have a diary of my daily experience about my career as an IT professional.

Thanks!

Thanks to the President!

This is just to commend on our president's effort in helping the filipinos at this time of crisis. I have seen a huge amount of difference in my widholding tax computation for this payroll. I am not a fan of this current administration, but i greatly appreaciate what they have done to help us. Hope you can also consider decreasing taxes on basic commodities and (if it helps) increase the sin taxes instead.:)

Innovating our Medicines.

Based from the Philippine Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (PPMA), there are more or less 50 pharmaceutical companies is the country today. Most of them are widely known in the country thru the radio and television ads but some might still be foreign to the many.

With this number of pharma companies, how are we consumers ensured of safe and effective drugs or medicine..??

I believe it would be good for our government to look into this and check the standards on how our medicines/drugs are being packaged. Pharmaceutical packaging standards should initially demand standards for the following:

- safety of consumers,
- preservation,
- efficiency, and
- hygiene

In other countries, there is a growing increase of demand for innovative packaging in the retail sector for pharmaceuticals. Not only do they take the four items mentioned above into consideration, they also look into other factors such as bioavailability, efficiency of dosage, fast and efficient solubility of compounds, and the like.

If you notice, some drugs sold in other countries today are being repacked from the usual tablets to being a capulette, from the usual capsule to being a liqui-gel (ex. Advil), from the usual bad-drug tasting tablets to being sugar-coated tablets (ex. Tylenol). These are just some living proofs of innovative pharmaceutical packaging .

Notice that other than remodeling the design and texture of how these drugs are packaged, pharmaceutical packaging also adds value to the product by making the product more convenient and attractive to the users.

Right now, I have only seen pharmaceutical packaging and innovation on one of our most selling export products, the virgin coconut oil where in the dosage transformed from a syrup-like liquid into a liqui-gel.

Wedding Disc Jockeys?

Ever heard of professional wedding disc jockeys here in the Philippines? I am aware that some filipinos do hire sound system with the disk jockey included for their weddings. But professional Disk Jockeys?? Are you crazy? Or better question is, do we have that here in the first place? I don't think so.. I did try to do ask Mr. Google but the unlucky me did not find any. This maybe due to the fact that most filipinos still prefer listening to live singers or orchestras rather than having disk jockey's play music for them.

But guess what? These professional wedding disc jockeys do exists and is starting to be a hit in America. Most of them are located in the State of California. Check out the San Diego DJs as an example. If you look at their services, you might also get interested because, other than their disk jockey service, they also provide other wedding services such as events planning and music videos.

Language Interpreters

Coming from an IT professional's perspective, when you first hear the word language interpreter , you would think of something like an interpreter of a programming language. And since they do sound a bit the same, i thought of researching a little bit about this language interpreter services.

Like programming language interpreters, which i have learned back in college, language interpreters also share the same objective as the former. And this is to translate a language to another langauge so that it can be easily understood by the recepeint or receiver. Language here does not necessarily have to be spoken, sign languages i believe is included in this area. (just my thought though..)

It is good to know that we have language interpreter services nowadays. What makes it even better is the fact that we can get professional help from them right straight from our home thru the internet.

With these, we can now say that there are no excuses for not understanding one another;)
